The May jobs report came out this morning, and it shows continued strong economic growth and a lowered unemployment rate:
.@BLS_gov reports 223,000 new payroll jobs in May, and the national unemployment rate down a tenth to 3.8%, lowest since April 2000.

Number of unemployed also on decline from 6.3-million in April to 6.1-million in May. Over the year: unemployment rate down 0.5 percentage point, says @BLS_gov, and number of unemployed down by 772,000.
