These days we often hear people saying there “needs to be a conversation” about any number of issues, including race. But, according to an op-ed in the New York Times, anybody who won’t first agree to conditions before any conversation takes place should be shunned:
Today, The New York Times ran an op-ed telling people to withhold affection from their relatives unless they protest or give money to anti-racism organizations.
Where does this end? I want racial equality, but I utterly disdain any person or institution endorsing such tactics. pic.twitter.com/vVTnKq75mo

this @nytimes oped instructs us to excommunicate "loved ones" until they've attended a protest, or paid cash to author-approved causes.
So grandparents need to risk COVID19 at a protest or pay up, or no grandkids
How did antiracism get so creepy & cultishhttps://t.co/ppJuOK69ue pic.twitter.com/Lbcj1mhD1A— Jonathan Kay (@jonkay) June 6, 2020
That approach is sure to win over hearts and minds! Oh wait, maybe that’s not the intent:
These people don’t want real justice, but the total opposite. They need people divided and screaming at each other’s throats. It’s like the old Star Trek episode with the aliens who stirred up hate because angry emotions were their food source. https://t.co/kQqrp9Htau

I wonder how the ‘fact-checking’ on this one went …

Sounds like a cult. Demanding that members cut ties with family and friends who don’t go along with the program https://t.co/bAbQ4KvBVc
