Gee, Why Did Ilhan Omar Turn Off the Replies for This Labor Day Truckin' Post?

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota knows that everybody agrees with her posts all the time so she doesn't want to waste everyone's time by letting them tell her how right she is about everything, and this is another example of that.

Well, maybe not.

Today is Labor Day, and Omar thought this picture was worth sharing with everybody:

America is only as strong as the labor that builds it every day.

Happy Labor Day. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/6NxLAkV3ET

The backfire would have been worse, but at least we still can go by the miracle of quote tweets.

She tried:

Ilhan: “America is only as strong as the labor that builds it.”

Also Ilhan: “But I've restricted the replies because I don't actually want to hear what you working Americans have to say.”

This is why people call politicians frauds. 🙄 https://t.co/mMmExdhBnM

COMMENTS OFF. HOW CONVENIENT.

Ilhan Omar posts a Labor Day selfie in a Teamsters truck, then locks the replies so America can't talk back.

That is not strength. That is a politician who wants the photo op without the accountability.

She will lecture this country about workers… https://t.co/GDKvFdPVKn

>labor that builds it
>foreign truck drivers

Oh you mean the people who undercut and loot our industries. Send most of the money they earn out of the country and then run over Americans? https://t.co/2a3yI7u8lp

We do not need more foreign born truckers on our roads.

We do not need Somali CDL scam companies.

They have kiIIed enough Americans already. https://t.co/hSsolByxBr

Turn on your replies, coward https://t.co/YN5Ph0lCWe

There are better odds that Omar will come out in full support of ICE than of her turning on the replies to that post.
