Morocco Makes Territorial Claims on Spanish Cities Its Citizens Invaded Last Month

As Twitchy reported at the end of July, a small city in Spain was invaded by thousands of young men from Morocco. Most of us watched in horror as the city of Ceuta released a video asking Spain to declare a state of emergency, deploy the army to the enclave, and fully close the borders. Spain's Interior Ministry declined, explaining that "immigration flows do not legally qualify as a risk to national security."

In case you missed it, here's a video:

Now, Morocco is laying a territorial claim to the Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla. Actually, it's just renewing its claim.

Euronews reports:

This week Morocco once again put Ceuta and Melilla at the centre of its territorial claims. On Friday, Moroccan Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi defended his country's "historical and geographical" rights over the two autonomous cities and proposed setting up a mechanism for dialogue with Spain to address their future.

Pedro Sánchez's government was quick to respond. Sources at the Foreign Ministry said that Spain had conveyed to Morocco its "categorical rejection" of these claims and reiterated that Ceuta and Melilla form part of Spain's sovereignty and territorial integrity and therefore of the territory of the European Union.

That's surprising, considering that Pedro Sánchez's government was quick to respond to the invasion by finding housing for its thousands of new Moroccan guests.

It was an invasion, not "migration." Morocco coordinated it. Now let's see if Spain rolls over and gives away the territory.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
