Remember when the Chicago Teachers' Union posted that the push to reopen schools during the COVID-19 epidemic was "rooted in racism, sexism, and misogyny"? Yeah, that's about how seriously to take them. None of those words holds any weight anymore, unless you're talking about the misogyny of men trying to enter women's private sports and spaces.
It looks like Renee Nicole Good is not going to be the next George Floyd that activists have been waiting for. Gwen Walz doesn't have her kitchen window open to catch the scent of burning buildings. The shooting has been good PR for the anti-ICE crowd, though. Just the other day, I wrote that MS NOW's Lawrence O'Donnell claimed on his show that "every video from every angle of the killing of Renee Good by one of Donald Trump’s ICE agents shows she did not run him over," adding, "Jonathan Ross fired his last two shots at her when she posed no threat to him at all."
O'Donnell was pretty slick to claim that the ICE agent wasn't "run over" — he got off a shot before that could happen. And if he fired his last two shots when Good posed no threat to him at all, isn't O'Donnell admitting that yes, she did pose a threat?
One of the stupidest takes I've seen is the claim that the shooting of Good was "rooted in misogyny."

So we're supposed to believe the agent didn't fear for his life, and just shot Good because he was angry that a woman didn't fear him.
No, she didn't cower — she danced in her seat while honking her horn. And after that, it was "drive, baby, drive."
