UK Pub Refuses Service to Man Carrying an English Flag

OK, if you're a voracious Twitchy reader and a VIP member, you just read a great piece by Amy Curtis called "The Prison Across the Pond," enumerating all of the ways that individual rights have been eroded in the United Kingdom. Yes, I'm going to write another post about the U.K. 

As you probably know, the provocateurs at 4Chan decided to come up with not only the "OK" hand symbol being a white supremacist symbol, but the phrase "It's OK to be white," which is now listed under "Hate Symbols" by the ADL. There's something similar going on in the U.K. There's an unofficial movement called "Operation: Raise the Colours" in which native Brits raise the Union Jack and the Cross of St. George, and the government comes along and takes the flags down. Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe is practically saying it's OK to be white with this ballsy post:

But we were assured by a professor of black studies that it's racist and needs to be replaced with something more multicultural to include the waves of unfettered migrants from Muslim nations.

Just like "It's OK to be white" was started as a trolling attempt, it was then allegedly adopted by white supremacist groups, which is why it is a hate symbol. Similarly, the English flag has been co-opted by the "far-right" who would like to see the nation's border respected.

I couldn't find this story reported on in the media after doing a Google search, but as I understand it, there was a protest about migrant hotels. A man carrying a Cross of St. George was denied entry to a pub afterward because his flag was considered a political protest symbol. Here's what came across my timeline.

The liberals have decided they want to welcome all the world's migrants, even though they have no intention of assimilating into British culture. 

Agreed. It's too far gone. And they don't have a Trump administration to get the deportations going.
