This is a story I've been sitting on for a couple of weeks, but I wanted to share it in case it has slipped through the cracks and you missed it. Remember how New York State Senator Liz Krueger suggested that New York and New England secede from the United States and form a new, Southeast province of Canada? I'm all for it. You'd all be happier and Canada, and we'd have fewer blue states to deal with.
Canada not only has implemented its pilot gun "buyback" program — it's making sure that Pride Month is observed by all municipalities.
Yes, Pride Month was back in June. We've also had the Transgender Day of Visibility and as we recently reported, Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day.
It pisses me off that the LGBTQ community gets one-twelfth of the year dedicated to celebrating itself. Veterans get one day. Our war dead get one day. The LGBTQ crowd gets a whole month, and that's in addition to all of the Pride days sprinkled throughout the calendar year. F**k Pride Month.
The mayor of Emo, Ontario, didn't declare June Pride Month in his town, and he was fined $5,000 and ordered sent to reeducation camp.

The town of Emo in Ontario was fined $10,000 and its Mayor Harold McQuaker was also penalized $5,000 on November 20 after a local pride group sued the community of 1,300 for not recognizing Pride Month.
McQuaker and two town councilors will also be required to complete mandatory human rights training within 30 days, according to The National Post.

They also have show proof of their training to Borderland Pride, which filed the discrimination complaint to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
I was going to ask who fined the town, but it turns out Ontario has a Human Rights Tribunal that apparently holds that power.
The mayor's reasoning was that there's no straight flag to fly, so why did there need to be an LGBTQ flag? I guess he'll learn why in his human rights training course.

It's a real wonder these people aren't more popular
So a group called Borderland Pride sues Emo for not flying a flag for Pride Month, and Ontario's Human Rights Tribunal garnishes $5,000 from the mayor's bank account. We learned during the Freedom Convoy that Canada has no qualms about freezing your bank account if it disagrees with your politics.

Don't forget that the Canadian Supreme Court rejected Dr. Jordan Peterson's appeal regarding the decision of the Ontario College of Psychologists to subject him to indefinite reeducation. Do they actually think forcing people into these DEI seminars is going to change people's convictions? Is the mayor of Emo going to embrace the LGBTQ mob because they sued him?
