Is this editor’s airport, they’ve set up a display of weapons that they’ve confiscated from air travelers, including things like swords and throwing stars. You’d have to be pretty dumb to try to get those past the TSA. The TSA, however, thinks travelers are pretty dumb and put up a display showing oversized liquids, gels, and aerosols that travelers had in their carry-on luggage. What were people thinking trying to smuggle through bottled water? These people should be shamed.

Thank God that peanut butter didn't make it on a plane, that could've killed someone 🙄

The peanut butter might actually be the thing on that table most likely to kill someone. Other than someone drinking all the alcohol at once.

Thank you for your service, protecting us from Vaseline, Sprite and Prell. It definitely makes all of the security theater worthwhile

Just curious, did a single one of these items that were taken contain anything that was a threat to the public?

Thank you for your service. This is 1000x more useful than any nurse or teacher

The TSA is actually showing this off as if it’s some sort of accomplishment instead of just reinforcing the image of what jerks they are.

Thank you! 🙏
The thought of sitting on an airplane and someone pulling out an orange juice is terrifying. God bless your work

How much of that could be used to make a bomb? Any of it? No?
Can we stop this nonsense yet? We all see it, we all submit to it, we all hate it, nobody is safer because shampoo and toothpaste is confiscated and grandma has to spend money on overpriced water before boarding!
— Kevin (DrKevGuitar) Kretsch (@DrKevGuitar) June 22, 2022
Holy shit! That much contraband could have blown up zero whole planes.

Is there a link to a GoFundMe to support the families of the brave agents who may have been injured or killed hauling in all of these dangerous items?

I guess the 3.4oz requirement and the shoe removal requirement will continue on, indefinitely. That's kinda ridiculous, as this attempted (& unsuccessful) shoe bomb was how many years ago? And has anyone ever set one of those off? Ever?
I guess it keeps people employed though.

Traveling with snow globes? In this economy?

I am curious: Did any of these items end up containing anything that would've threatened the lives of plane passengers? Or is this just bragging about arbitrary confiscation of people's property, at a time when it's harder for families to afford food, drinks, & toiletries?

How are peanut butter and toothpaste liquids, gels, or aerosols? Does the TSA get a kickback from the manufacturers of those little tubes of toothpaste?
