We’re read a lot about the “science” behind transgender athletes, and we’re continually told that they hold no advantage over their biologically female teammates. “60 Minutes Australia,” which appears to be just as fair and balanced as America’s version, talked to trans rugby player Hannah Mouncey as well as a doctor who’s also a trans athlete. She explains that yes, Mouncey used to have a six-cylinder engine powering that big frame of hers, but with all of the hormone therapy, now she’s running a little four-cylinder engine, actually putting her at a physical disadvantage.

Lia Thomas’ teammates had to come out anonymously just to say anything and then were told by their university to attend counseling if they had a problem with a biological male in the locker room.
