Taylor Lorenz didn't have enough confirmation to add this to her story on Libs of Tik Tok, so she tweeted it instead

Yeah, sorry, but we’re still dragging the Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz for her hit piece on the woman behind Libs of Tik Tok. As we reported earlier, Ben Shapiro did a great job showing the “journalisming” that Lorenz did for the piece, such as accusing the woman of using “QAnon-related language,” because she shared the story of a sting operation that nabbed almost 200 child predators. You see, if you even mention pedophilia regardless of context, you’re using QAnon-related language.

As Twitchy reported yesterday, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon tweeted that the woman behind Libs of Tik Tok doesn’t have to worry about losing her job, because he made a deal with her to make what she’s already doing a full-time job. The deal was in the works before Lorenz’s story was published, but this seemed like a good time to announce it.

We’re not journalists like Taylor Lorenz, so she saw Dillon’s tweet and says she heard that The Babylon Bee had provided her financial backing. She couldn’t confirm the details though, so instead of writing it up for the Washington Post, she just tweeted it.

Dillion confirmed that himself.

“I have heard … but I didn’t have enough confirmation on the details … but now I’ve confirmed it but got the details wrong.”
