The very first bit of this video is cut off, but it’s clear the question was about opening up more federal land to oil and natural gas drilling. On the Sunday shows, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that President Joe Biden would expand green energy to make us less dependent on foreign sources. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg got the same memo and turned that question about drilling on federal land to a sales pitch for electric cars and how awesome they are. “We are in the middle of a long-term transformation,” he explained to CBS News.
Asked about expanding U.S. energy production to lower gas prices, Pete Buttigieg says Biden supports “efforts to increase global oil production."

Last November, the Biden administration was begging OPEC+ to increase their output, and just last week, Democratic U.S. Rep. Brad Sherman pleaded for Saudi Arabia to up its oil output; “Otherwise, the blood of Ukrainians is also on Saudi Arabia’s hands.”
But when we finally have everyone in an electric car, all of these problems will go away.
Wrong answer.

U.S. energy production here at home is basically being held hostage against their war on fossil fuels and the "transfer" to their new green deal.

NIMBY. Well he’s on record to increase global output. Whether it’s in the States or not doesn’t matter to fairy nature

Hiring someone else to do the "dirty" work and then purchasing it does not make you look virtuous. It makes you look like the con artist you are.

That’s essentially their answer. Weren’t all the people who lost jobs building the Keystone XL pipeline supposed to be building solar panels right now or something?
