How does Chris Cuomo still have a job at CNN? A lot of people were asking that before transcripts and texts from the state attorney general’s office revealed that Cuomo had used his media “sources” to run interference for his brother Andrew Cuomo who was under fire for sexual harassment. Cuomo was actively in touch with his brother’s top aide, Melissa DeRosa, and asked to “please let me help” with the preparation of his PR strategy.
It’s evidently going to take CNN several days to have conversations and seek additional clarity about its Chris Cuomo problem.

Ah yes, the clarity necessary to distinguish between an apple and a banana.

When obvious isn't enough, you desperately seek clarity

Wonder if those sources were… reliable?

One would think he is first in the ratings in his time slot with all these second chances.
He’s in third place. And there are only 3 places.

So its under the rug by now?

Enough dude. Just enough.

Maybe they're just using this to dump him due to low ratings

Will a strongly worded memo be written as well?

Based on what he admitted to the investigators, he was clearly lying when he told his viewers "I never made calls to the press about my brother’s situation." I can't imagine how much more clarity CNN needs.

And you're done talking about it.

Please keep @CNN in business long enough to pay @KyleRittenhouse.

If this situation had unfolded on another network, you would have rightly called for Cuomo's dismissal a long time ago.
— Clay C. (@ClayC1969) November 29, 2021
Very weak CYA. Cuomo should have been gone by COB today and you shouldn't be running interference for your bosses while they dither. This is an extremely clear example of conflict of interest and disregard for journalistic standards.

“Having conversations” sounds like Kamala-speak when she doesn’t have an answer and doesn’t plan on having a conversation about it either.

The additional clarity is that your star anchor used your network's resources to help his brother get away with sexually assaulting women.

What do you think Brian? Would you demand a resignation at the least?
— SriTal (@SrikanthTalagad) November 29, 2021
Yeah, Brian, you’re the media reporter with the newsletter. What do you think?
Will you have Jeffrey Toobin on to discuss the ethics of all this?
— Dr (@bbqdudefrmAR) November 29, 2021
Did FNC have to report this for you to find out about it?

Congratulations to Noah Blum, who called it an hour early:
What Stelter will do is tweet out the CNN article about management's response and the text of his tweet will be the quote itself. https://t.co/cOn0vEi3M3
