Our story begins with the liberal cable network MS NOW setting out to prove how President Trump's border and immigration policies are causing horrible consequences with this report:
WATCH: CITIES UNDER SIEGE | MS NOW’s Antonia Hylton, host of “The Assignment,” travels to Texas, where some landowners risk losing their land to Trump’s border wall — turning some longtime conservatives against a president they supported.

Watch “The Assignment with Antonia…
Irony being what it is, the MS NOW crew determined to prove how awful Trump, ICE and border patrol policies are, reportedly got stuck.
Guess who saved them.

Antonia Hylton and her MS NOW crew drove into the Texas desert to report on how brutal Big Bend is and why a wall would be a mistake.
Their Jeep bottomed out.
Eight Border Patrol agents in four trucks had to rescue them after dark.

You can't make this stuff up:
An MS NOW news crew had to be rescued by eight border patrol agents after its SUV became stranded in the remote Texas desert.
Antonia Hylton and her crew were reporting from Texas’ Big Bend region for the debut of “The Assignment” when their Jeep Wagoneer bottomed out shortly after a visit to the Alvarado Ranch.
“As the sun went down, our Jeep Wagoneer bottomed out in the desert,” Hylton said.
The stranded crew needed help from Border Patrol as darkness descended, according to Hylton.
What a fantastic and hilarious start to the weekend.

We're not betting any money on MS NOW doing a lot of stories thanking border patrol for saving their crew.
