We all know the entertainment media skews Left, but c’mon man. As we reported earlier this month, Disney+ announced “FAUCI,” an “unprecedented portrait of one of America’s most vital public servants.” Review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes said that critics loved “FAUCI,” but the audience score had settled at around 4 percent positive.
Now Amazone Prime Video is getting into the game with “Mayor Pete,” a documentary about Pete Buttigieg. We’re not sure what it covers, exactly, but it features husband Chasten on the poster and says, “Win or lose their story changed history.”
He lost and changed nothing.

I haven’t been reading the papers. Will this documentary film tell me if he won or lost?

It’s the narrative that counts. The results don’t matter.

I was in South Bend in 2017. Prior to that as a kid in the 60s I saw a vibrant city but in 2017 it was a shell, bad streets, vacant buildings, countless unemployed and when I asked locals about Pete they were far from complimentary. I doubt that will be shown.

First gay male secretary of transportation to take over 2 months of paternity leave while in the midst of a logistical breakdown. It’s a very specific achievement, but a notable one.

Who wants this? Chasten already released a memoir last fall for anyone dying to know more. You read it, right?
