'This is so sick': Rep. Rashida Tlaib says the Border Patrol will continue to commit human rights abuses 'if we don't stop it now'

As Twitchy reported Monday, The El Paso Times reported that a Border Patrol agent “swung his whip menacingly” while rounding up Haitian migrants, and that story and quote was amplified by national media, including PBS News’ Yamiche Alcindor and NBC News’ Shannon Pennypiece. The Times brought us some “strong reporting” by environmental reporter Martha Pskowski, who wrote that Border Patrol agents were cracking whips — which is a good trick, seeing as they weren’t carrying whips.

Vice President Kamala Harris has said she supports a “thorough investigation.” “Those individuals on horseback treating human beings the way they were was horrible,” said President Biden’s border czar, who also fully bought into the Jussie Smollett hoax and demanded immediate action there too. Funny how Harris didn’t mention the treatment of holding more than 10,000 migrants under an overpass in 100-degree weather for days.

On Monday, Rep. Rashida Tlaib also called for immediate hearings by the House Oversight and Judiciary committees, saying that “this system simply can’t be reformed.” Where have we heard that before? Oh yeah, after the death of Duante Wright, Tlaib called for “no more policing,” saying “it can’t be reformed.”

So, like policing, this is another system that “simply can’t be reformed.” So … do nothing?
