Drew Holden asked the Washington Post a question earlier, after noting that the New York Times had pivoted from the coronavirus escaping from a Wuhan lab being a “fringe theory” of Sen. Tom Cotton’s to a story on a group of scientists calling for further inquiry into the origins of COVID-19:
do you still stand by your reporting that @SenTomCotton "suggested it’s necessary to ask Chinese authorities about the possibility, fanning the embers of a conspiracy theory that has been repeatedly debunked by experts." https://t.co/gi3kJ90XEC

Even PolitiFact has appended a correction to its “fact-check” on the “debunked” Wuhan Institute of Virology conspiracy theory. But a Washington Post columnist has decided that Republicans are pouncing on the newfound curiosity as to where the coronavirus originated. And it’s not just a conspiracy theory, but “slanderous myths” driven by the “manias and vendettas” of the populist right.

You either have a super low IQ or an agenda. Of course this was manufactured in a lab. There is no possible way something like this could come from an animal. Be very careful.

You're a psychopath and the media as a whole is schizophrenic.

Your thesis here is significantly more evidence-free than the lab virus theory

— Charles H (@oneforallparty) May 25, 2021
Purely coincidental that a virus would emerge in the same town as a bio lab which researches highly infectious diseases and viruses right?
