As you may have noticed, the media was enamoured with a New York Times photographer’s “amazing” and “terrific” picture of President Joe Biden Tuesday and his “brilliant juxtaposition” with the painting of Abraham Lincoln behind him. It’s like Biden is the reincarnation of Lincoln, sent to unify a divided country.
We’re not sure what they’ll say about Biden’s performance Wednesday; probably that he was “measured” and “pensive” in his reply to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s quote:
McConnell: “One hundred percent of my focus is on stopping this new administration."
Show this to Republicans the next time they pretend that Biden isn’t seeking bipartisanship.
