A lot of people are suggesting that billionaire Michael Bloomberg is jumping into the 2020 race just to burn some of his money to be a spoiler for Donald Trump. Or, maybe he actually thinks he can win — he’s purchased a ton of advertising, leading Elizabeth Warren to accuse him of trying to buy the election.
Mike Bloomberg is placing $34 million in TV ads in one week—the most of any presidential candidate in history.
That’s one way to pay less under my #WealthTax. Because in a Warren administration, he and his billionaire friends would finally have to pay their fair share. https://t.co/qWHtk37zaM

Once in a while, you need Brit Hume and his dry humor to put things into perspective, as he did Tuesday:
Difference between Mike Bloomberg and Elizabeth Warren/Bernie
Sanders is that Bloomberg is trying to buy the election with his money and Warren/Sanders are trying to buy it with yours.— Brit Hume (@brithume) November 26, 2019
Nailed it.
Bam!

And Warren/Sanders incomprehensibly think that using our money instead of their own somehow makes them virtuous and makes Bloomberg a scoundrel.
Bad enough these two can vote. Why would anyone vote for them?— Bill Moody (@WRogersM) November 27, 2019
Right and they both seem equally as bad.

Warren forgot about the middle of the country when she moved to Boston. Sanders and Bloomberg never really understood it.

And Bloomberg can't offer anything to help the people that Trump isn't already doing for them and the economy. All he is is "not Trump" and not as crazy as the other Dems.

Wait, I get it. Ads are made to influence people. So people who buy ads are literally buying the election?
But it's worse when everyone pools their money together to buy the ads… Nope, I still don't get it.
