Young Turks contributor Ryan Grim was not pleased to read in The Daily Beast a piece called, “The Magical Thinking Behind Warren’s Medicare for All Plan.” In it, Brian Riedl writes that “Warren assumes substantial net savings that far exceed what most analysts consider plausible” and that “the $20.5 trillion in proposed federal budget savings are ambitious, yet ultimately unrealistic and economically destructive.”
That got him labeled as a “single-payer denier.”
The single-payer deniers are a lot like the climate deniers. A thousand objections, and whenever you meet 1, they have a new one, even as the status quo has us on a collision course with catastrophe. What is the plan these people have in the alternative?https://t.co/Q3N5KD5d8J

“Single-payer deniers”? https://t.co/6zwOlpjbAT

Oh I quite like that. Get me a T-shirt.

Haha! It’s the same leftist playbook:
1) label
2) other
3) defame— Man-Bear-Pig (@Man_Bear_Pig3) November 6, 2019
"What's the plan they have in alternative?" is such a stupid argument as well. If the house is on fire and they suggest we douse it with gasoline, my inability to find an alternative doesn't make gasoline a good idea.

Just because the opposition does not have a “plan” does not mean that yours isn’t a giant flaming piece of garbage
— BooToYou! (@boodad12) November 6, 2019
Single payer proponents still haven't found the money trees the cost of their dumb ideas were going to grow from.

I thought the plan was ObamaCare?

I always thought Obamacare fixed everything

Obamacare was so magical and great, that it will cost $53 trillion to fix! Without raising taxes. You all were so trustworthy and honest the first time around, why would we doubt you now?
— Go Irish (@sjenk26) November 6, 2019
LOL those single-payer deniers and their pesky mathematics! Why can't they just live in fantasyland like I do?
— скйлер (@Skyl3r26) November 6, 2019
We should deny the term single-payer. It's doublespeak. It should only be called socialized medicine or gov't-run, monopolistic healthcare. I'll even accept VA-for-All.
— Mr. Nite (@mister_nite) November 6, 2019
Every single-payer system does a lot of denying, yep.
— Rev Snow (@RevSnow67) November 6, 2019
A true free market system is my alternative solution to being a "single payer denier."
— ian (@ayecarajo) November 6, 2019
Ryan, her M4A "plan" is bad, harms single-payer, and is deeply cynical.
— Warren is a trojan horse (@Grifting2020) November 2, 2019
It’s so bad the daily beast is giving her hell.

*checks bio* Ah, young turks, makes sense.
— Josh Fields (@partiallypro) November 6, 2019
So instead of dealing with the objections, you just ignore them and press on with your narrative.
Very journalisty in a 2019/ABC kind of way.
— Joe Tundra (@joedieseldodge) November 6, 2019
We actually don’t need to justify our distaste for socialized medicine and our reluctance to enter into it, you need to convince us. Bullying won’t work and will only invite more push-back. It would actually be easier to go get a big-boy job and pay for your own shit.

"Single payer deniers"? ?
I LIVED single payer for a DECADE.

Feel free to talk to any current doctor about their future work plans once single payer reimbursement rates are not covering their costs.
Hint: They won’t be practicing medicine.
— Andrews Dad (@Andrew_Dad) November 6, 2019
You should blend these issues more, it's a good confirmatory illustration of why the climate issue is more about the left trying to get their way than about science. This only helps solidify that understanding.
Can I get a "open borders deniers are a lot like climate deniers?"?

You could’ve just said you don’t know economics instead.

If math is this hard for you, I can't imagine how bad your brain hurts with economics.
