Flashback: Thick-skinned Carlos Maza admits his goal at Media Matters is to 'take down Fox News'

As Twitchy has reported, Vox’s Carlos Maza has been on a crusade to have Steven Crowder “punished” by YouTube, either by having his videos banned or his channel demonetized.

On Tuesday, YouTube announced it had reviewed Crowder’s flagged videos and determined he hadn’t violated any terms of service; on Wednesday, YouTube announced that it was going to demonetize Crowder’s videos because he had violated YouTube’s Partner Program policies through “a pattern of egregious actions” that had “harmed the broader community.”

One of those sympathizing with the self-described thick-skinned Maza was Media Matters editor-at-large Parker Molloy, who probably knows Maza from his MMFA days. The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra dug up an old tweet that shows Maza’s long been all about shutting down opposing viewpoints.

Nah, he’s just concerned that YouTube is a welcoming environment for LGBT content creators like himself. That’s his current line, anyway.

Wait … do you think Vox considers it a conflict of interest hiring a dude from Media Matters? That’s like interning for them.

Fox News still dominates the prime time cable ratings, which means it has nowhere to go but down. The pins are all set up for you, Media Matters.

Yep.
