Wow, we really didn’t know how any mainstream journalist was going to be able to make a “Republicans pounce” story out of the Covington Catholic High School/Nathan Phillips debacle, but the Washington Post has managed it, ironically enough, in a story about “how it all went down.”

“The Trump Internet pounced.” “Online supporters of the president were ready for a moment like the Covington Catholic controversy.” Seriously? That’s how the Washington Post, which is still correcting the record on “Vietnam veteran” Phillips, thinks it went down?
