Newsweek seems to be missing out on a great marketing opportunity. Back in late November, a senior writer at Newsweek compiled a bunch of pieces colleagues had written for publication after Hillary Clinton had won the presidency; the result was a sort of alternative reality edition in which fans could lose themselves in professionally written fan fiction.
Newsweek really ought to rush that thing into print now, when Hillary’s book tour has made both nostalgia and revisionist history hot again. The New Yorker, for example, is passing around the cover that would have run had Hillary not blown it.
