New York Times checks in on a more talkative Chelsea Clinton as her parents 'take a political break'

Another post on Chelsea Clinton? We apologize in advance, but we’re still not as bad as The Hill when it comes to saturation coverage of the only child of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Resistance President Hillary Clinton, who, according to the New York Times, are “taking a political break.”

Taking a political break — that’s a very gentle way of saying Hillary lost, but the Times has a lot of easily triggered readers to think about.

The Hill might have been the first to float the idea of Chelsea Clinton seeking political office, but much like us, the New York Times can’t help but notice that she has become “more talkative” since Election Day.

Much of Katie Rogers’ piece is sourced to college friends of Chelsea’s who insist she hasn’t changed a bit (despite that the poor girl, just like her mom, can’t catch a break) and “she’s literally just tweeting like a normal person would tweet.”

That’s kind of true; a lot of “normal” people tweet about things like the “horrifying research” linking climate change and diabetes. Most of them aren’t being groomed by the media for a future in politics, though.

Looks like a lot of people are ready to take a break from the Clintons.
