Two Ferguson protesters admit to plan to bomb police station, prosecutor, police chief

Olajuwon Ali Davis, 23, and Brandon Orlando Baldwin, 24, will be sentenced August 31 to seven years in prison for participating in a plot to bomb an unidentified police station, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCulloch, former Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson, other unnamed individuals, at least two ATMs, and “one of them tanks,” according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

The two met in August at the Ferguson protests over the shooting of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson. Investigators previously identified both defendants as members of the St. Louis Chapter of the New Black Panther Party who went by the names Brandon Muhammad and Brother Ali.

At one point Baldwin had given an informer a $100 deposit for some car bombs and said he would have the remaining $150 that Friday when he received his unemployment benefits.
