'Sick joke': Rapper Snoop Dogg revives 'No Guns Allowed' campaign

Rapper Snoop Dogg, née Calvin Broadus, revived his “No Guns Allowed” campaign at a fundraiser Thursday with a little help from MC Hammer, Joe Montana, Diana Nyad and others.

But this is the kinder, gentler Snoop Dogg.

It certainly was an eclectic group, in that it managed to include a rapper with a record of multiple arrests for possessing a firearm. Michelle Malkin has the lengthy rap sheet at her site, including these highlights:

What’s dangerous is that Broadus’ “No Guns Allowed” push seems to be as influential as his earlier gangsta persona was.
