Twitchy first reported on the arrest of California state Sen. Leland Yee, a Democrat, on March 27. By the 29th, the Taiwanese animators had unveiled their hilarious take on the story, including the charges of arms trafficking and other counts of corruption.
Now, nearly two weeks later, CNN has reported on Leland Yee’s arrest, and promoted the story with a tweet from the “CNN Breaking News” Twitter account.
