Not everyone is inspired by this recolored American flag posted by Ukrainian official

Some thought that picture of Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi holding up an autographed Ukrainian flag was a Photoshop job, but it wasn’t. More than one person claimed to have been suspended by Twitter for posting the photo with less-than-supportive comments.

There have been some less-than-successful attempts to show unity with Ukraine by displaying its flag. Remember when the American Federation of Teachers union and Randi Weingarten posted a photo of them holding up “Stand With Ukraine” flags, except the flags were upside-down? And then they tried to use Photoshop to turn the flags the right way up. And then they gave up and deleted it.

And then there was this monstrosity … this editor doesn’t understand how there wasn’t more outrage over this:

What the hell is that?

Not everyone was thrilled by Ukrainian UN official Sergiy Kyslytsya’s “unity” post Wednesday night, either:

Can we stop trying to merge the Ukrainian and American flags? It’s not that much to ask, is it? Just put a Ukrainian flag in your Twitter handle and be done with it.
