One of the negatives of being out and proud is that stories like this one about you will get media attention just because of who you are. We admit it — we wouldn’t care about this if it weren’t about Sam Brinton, the guy from the Department of Energy who dresses like a woman when he’s not dressed up like a leather dog. It’s a weird story, though, so that also brings some interest.

So, Brinton says he accidentally picked up the wrong bag, and instead of owning up to his mistake, he said he just left the bag and all its contents in his hotel room.

This is weird. He took the bag back to the hotel and when confront, he lied and said it was his, then later finally admitted to leaving the clothes at the hotel and still taking the bag with him back to DC…He then said he did that because leaving the stolen bag would look weird
