Russia fires missiles into Poland; President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says 'we must act'; Updated

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a statement that this is “a significant escalation” and that “we must act.”

The White House has requested $37.7 billion in new Ukraine funding, but we’re not certain if that’s related to the missile attack. It was floated that Democrats were going to try to secure a $50 billion aid package before Republicans took over the House in January.

What’s this business about “we” must act?

As far as we know, we haven’t heard from President Biden on the subject, as he’s overseas for the G-20 summit.
