Progressives like to take their message to the streets, either by buying billboards or projecting messages on the sides of buildings. In Philadelphia, abortion activists “reclaimed the sky” with drones to share their message that “Abortion = Freedom.” This reminds us of the time when progressives literally gathered on the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump’s election to “scream at the sky.” Or, more recently, the group of moms who gathered to scream at the sky because their children were too young to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
It’s a pretty cool light show, though.
This week we took to the streets to fight for abortion access and bodily autonomy.
