The White House has sent the press excerpts of the speech he’ll give Wednesday evening, and it’s just a rerun of his “Red Speech” in Philadelphia, only with the midterms as the focus. There are election deniers up and down the ballot and democracy is at stake. (Here’s where we insert that 10-minute video of Democrats denying election results.)
Meanwhile, Democrats like Elie Mystal continually call our Constitution “trash,” and Vox’s Ian Millhiser tweets over and over that we should abolish the Senate. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, an election denier herself, says it seems “very one-sided” who is calling for violence against the Supreme Court.
We didn’t hear anyone say “insurrection” when protesters banged on the doors of the Supreme Court to stop Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s swearing in, and we won’t hear it from the media today after several women interrupted oral argumets inside the Supreme Court chamber.
