It was a year ago this month that we learned that teachers’ unions had influenced the CDC’s guidance on reopening schools. The CDC just said it was getting input from stakeholders, but we thought science was the one and only guiding force.
American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten is probably the most ratio’d person on Twitter and she’s found that button that restricts people from commenting on her threads now. The quote-tweets are still there, though:
