The piece going around today from Healthline is from February, but it’s making the rounds of Twitter after someone noticed a piece on the sexual peak of “vulva owners.” That one’s new to us, although we did report in May on Toronto’s mayor trying to fight the stigma around periods on behalf of all the city’s “menstruators,” and Tampax just last month celebrated the diversity of “all people who bleed.”
And people are actually having ceremonies where they burn their “Harry Potter” books because J.K. Rowling is a transphobe for suggesting sex is an immutable characteristic. What makes you TERFs think trans activists are trying to erase women?
But yeah, vulva owners:
the phrase "i am going to go join ISIS now" gets thrown around a lot these days,,, pic.twitter.com/sWWODB3cpe

"Vulva Owners" sounds like it's from an ad for some ill-advised brand name.

We also would have accepted “individuals with a cervix” or “birthing people.”

When you buy a new vulva at the vulva store, but you can’t get it to work properly, can you return it? pic.twitter.com/Ox4ogW99eT

The next logical step in this language campaign is the vulva emancipation. "How dare anyone presume to own a vulva!"
It is at that point that the left will embrace state vulva regulation because all left wing campaigns are doomed to end in self parody.

I assume this is a typo and they meant “Volvo”

We interviewed Kurt Livingston, a person with a Volvo, about this topic and he said he hit his sexual peak the day before he bought the car. pic.twitter.com/jpEVt8ROGk

I’m trying so hard not to give up on humanity, but they’re making it very difficult.

Owners? Like it's some object?
— Crime Master Gogo (@Seroraptor) November 30, 2020
I feel like there's meme potential for vulva-owners but I just can't manage to put my fingers on it

— Petite Kraken (@Pamelajn922) November 30, 2020
Wait, on the third one, is "birthing people" referring to the act or the entity doing the act?
— drumr (@drumr7) November 30, 2020
The entity. Cause there are 426 other genders that can have babies so we need to narrow it down.
— Thinzilla cant believe he was excited for football (@Thinzilla) November 30, 2020
Birthing Individuals With A Cervix Who Own Vulvas, or BIWACWOVs, is how I will refer to the sex formerly known as ‘womxn’ from now on.

— Prometheus (@fahimferdinand) November 30, 2020
Women just don't exist anymore I guess…

I remember when saying shit like that was considered misogynistic instead of woke.
