We remember it well: last December, after the FCC voted 3-2 to repeal Obama-era net neutrality rules, CNN amped up the hysteria with its headline, “End of the internet as we know it.”
Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana also kept a screenshot on hand to honor the millions who died:
One year ago this week, after the Trump administration and @AjitPaiFCC reversed anti-innovation internet regulations instituted by the previous administration in 2015, CNN falsely reported “the end of the internet as we know it.”

We kind of miss the liberal hysteria surrounding the repeal. NARAL, for one, considered the repeal “a direct threat to reproductive freedom” because the ability of women to find information about abortion providers could be “compromised.” Guess they didn’t have to worry after all.
It’s also one year after Nancy Pelosi said our tax cuts bill was "Armageddon" and “one of the worst bills in the history of" America. Now, unemployment is the lowest since 1969 and more than 2.2 million jobs have been created since the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act became law. Sorry Nancy!

Well, yeah, if you survived the tax cuts, sure.
We mourn the tens of millions who perished. https://t.co/3tQaZJlspy

Stop corpse shaming.

Well, actually, as predicted by Pelosi, I was mortally wounded as a result of the #NetNeutrality repeal. While on life support, the repeal of the Obamacare mandate forced one foot in the grave, and the GOP tax cuts put the other foot in, but it's cool, we have Twitter in heaven.

We've all died 10 times since Nov 2016.

It’s amazing that we’ve all survived?

Weird, Brian Stelter, how CNN stopped reporting on the destructive effects of the net neutrality repeal days after it passed.
We rarely believe anything that starts with "CNN reports."

We’ve got to give a shout out to actress and activist Alyssa Milano, who invited followers to watch the FCC “destroy the internet!”
FCC #NetNeutality vote is happening right now and you can watch them destroy the internet live with me! Go to https://t.co/XUlOILL8Yh! #SaveNetNeutrality #TrumpBrokeTheInternet https://t.co/lDUVOfvJ4v https://t.co/ZOBqDvzgdz
