'COMPLICIT': 'Roseanne' cast member Sara Gilbert gets dragged for her statement

As Twitchy reported, ABC canceled the “Roseanne” reboot after ABC decided that Roseanne Barr’s “abhorrent, repugnant” tweet didn’t align with the network’s values. And to be frank, her tweet targeting Valerie Jarrett was abhorrent and utterly uncalled for.

News that the show had been canceled broke just before 2 p.m., so we’re not sure what cast member and producer Sara Gilbert, who played “Darlene Conner,” knew about the future of the show at the time she tweeted this:

Sounds fair to us: the show was canceled over Roseanne Barr’s tweet, but that’s going to put a lot of people out of business — including the writers.

Or at least it sounded fair, but a lot of people called out Gilbert for claiming that Barr was “separate and apart” from the show, while others dragged her for even working with Barr in the first place.
