Of course Vox was going to have a hot take on the Las Vegas mass shooting that killed at least 58 and wounded hundreds. Vox deputy foreign editor (and Muslim convert) Jennifer Williams offered up a warning: white American men are the real threat, so let’s ditch that travel ban, OK?

Like so many body counts that have been compiled, Williams’ fails to take into account 9/11 (as well as the hundreds of fatal shootings that take place in Americas cities every year). In fact, Williams starts her body count with the Trump administration for some reason — and that reason seems to be her dislike of Trump’s so-called Muslim Ban.

When President Donald Trump signed his since-revised executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States, he claimed it was to protect Americans from “radical Islamic terrorists.”

“We don’t want ‘em here,” Trump told reporters at the Pentagon, where he signed the order in January.

But in the eight months since Trump took office, more Americans have been killed in attacks by white American men with no connection to Islam than by Muslim terrorists or foreigners.

So, white American men … should be deported? And there should be no limits on immigration? What’s the plan here?

Can’t you goobers read? “Since Trump took office.” Because that’s the line cutoff date we’re supposed to use now.
