The Hypocrite Pope

AP Photo/Eric Gay

For four years, the so-called 'devout Catholic' Joe Biden talked a lot about his favorite things including unrestricted access to abortion, gay rights, and 'gender-affirming care' for 'trans' kids. I don't recall Pope Francis being nearly as vocal in criticizing Joe Biden for those beliefs -- beliefs that actually contradict Catholic teaching and are considered mortal sins.

That's the pattern of this Pope, however. He's incredibly lenient on 'Catholics' who profess very Left-wing ideologies. He even appointed a new archbishop to D.C., Robert McElroy, because McElroy is an 'outspoken advocate' for illegal immigrants and LGBTQ issues. Meanwhile, the Pope attacks priests who say the Latin Mass as having 'mental imbalance, emotional deviation' and 'behavioral difficulties.' This is the tactic Communists have used throughout the years to discredit and imprison their political opponents, by the way: calling them mentally ill.

After turning a blind eye to the evils supported by Joe Biden, the Pope is back to be a thorn in the side of Donald Trump:

The entire post reads (emphasis original):

Pope Francis:

'It would make the migrants, who have nothing, pay the unpaid bill.

It doesn't work.

You don't resolve problems this way.'

The pope, known for supporting migrant rights, has clashed with Trump before, famously calling his anti-immigration stance 'not Christian' during the 2016 election.

Chicago’s Cardinal Blase Cupich:

'This would be an affront to the dignity of all people and communities.'

Chicago's Blase Cupich is another Lefty who all but banned the Latin Mass in Chicago while ignoring the fact the Black residents of the Windy City are fed up with the damage done by illegal immigration.

As I wrote before the election, unlike abortion and gay marriage -- both prohibited in Catholic teaching -- there is room for interpretation of Catholic teaching on immigration. Here's what the Catechism says (emphasis added):

2241 The more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood which he cannot find in his country of origin. Public authorities should see to it that the natural right is respected that places a guest under the protection of those who receive him.

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants’ duties toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.

And I noted at the time:

America spends $150 billion on illegal immigrants each year; in cities like Denver, police and fire budgets are being slashed to fund the needs of immigrants. We are in trillions of dollars worth of debt. It seems we have far exceeded the extent to which we are able to, haven't we?

The Catechism also says that the host nation can enforce immigration laws and place conditions immigration and expects immigrants to respect our laws and culture. By illegally immigrating, they've violated the teachings of the Catholic Church. By comprising 75% of the arrests in NYC, they have violated those teachings.

It is very clear that America cannot afford to house, feed, and support vast numbers of illegal immigrants who do not abide by our laws or contribute to the prosperity of this country. By default, 100% of illegal immigrants are criminals for crossing our borders without proper clearance. Full stop.

I'm a freelance writer with degrees in English and Nursing. How is it I can understand the very clear language of the Catechism, but the Pope and his minions cannot?

But it gets more interesting:

Well, look at that.

The Vatican -- surrounded by walls -- will issue sanctions, fines, and prison sentences to those who illegally enter prohibited areas.

We also don't doubt they'd remove those offenders from Vatican territories.

Donald Trump should point to the Vatican's own policies as grounds for his deportation plans.
