NY Dem Rep Sean Patrick Maloney tells families suffering under Biden's economy to eat Chef Boyardee

New York Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (D) has this astonishingly out-of-touch advice for families struggling under the Biden economy:

From Fox News:

“Hudson Valley residents are feeling pain at the pump and at grocery stores, what have you done, and what do you plan to do to help solve our inflation problem?,” Maloney was asked.

“Yeah, well, I grew up in a family where, you know, if the gas price went up, the food budget went down,” Rep. Maloney said. “So by this time of the week, we’d be eating Chef Boyardee if that budget wasn’t gonna change. So that’s what families have to do. Here’s what we should do,” Maloney said before discussing actions that he says would lower inflation.

To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with Chef Boyardee from time-to-time. It’s certainly filling and convenient and yes, inexpensive, but a quick search shows the contents of one can provides over 50% of the daily recommended sodium intake. All that sodium from just one meal sounds…not exactly healthy.

Nutritional concerns aside, how amazingly arrogant of Rep. Maloney to suggest that the way to deal with the current inflation crisis is for American families to resort to this in an effort to counteract Biden’s disastrous energy policies:

Absolutely astounding.

Hard not to draw a certain parallel:

Yes please, New York.

It’s a real mystery.
