It’s tougher than it looks to settle on something so apparently simple as a slogan, and tougher still to keep a straight face knowing that Hillary Clinton, whose ads surgically target “rough food groups” of people and who called her opponent’s supporters a “basket of deplorables,” eventually decided to run with “Stronger Together.”

The Clinton camp brainstormed extensively, and WikiLeaks has posted a Word document of suggestions distributed to her team. People have been picking out their favorites, but seeing them lined up in columns makes it easy to see why Katy Perry was such a great fit for her rallies — imagine her belting out this inspirational chorus:

Your future
Your terms
Lifting us up
Moving us forward

Building tomorrow’s America

Building a better tomorrow
Our families, our future
Secure the future
A future worth fighting for …

“No Quit?” That’s really on there, which strongly suggests the campaign failed to secure the rights to “No Woman, No Cry.”
