Oakland sues Occupy Wall Street for vandalism

The city of Oakland filed suit Wednesday against an Occupy Oakland  protester who city officials say smashed the windows of an Oakland police  Internal Affairs and Recruiting Office during a chaotic demonstration on Nov.  3, according to the city attorney’s office.

City Attorney Barbara Parker announced that the city is seeking  $6,654.63 in damages from Cesar Aguirre, 24, of Elk Grove to cover the cost  of repairs and other costs and unspecified punitive damages.
