It’s enlightening watching Democrats and their ‘journalists’ in the legacy media grapple with their Maine Senate candidate’s credible sexual assault allegations. Enlightening because their reaction to the utterly unbelievable allegations against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh eight years ago was to go into full attack mode, treating every unsubstantiated utterance by accuser Christine Blasey Ford as unquestionable truth. Senator Bernie Sanders was among those who went after Kavanaugh. Sanders fully endorsed Platner; there's a stark contrast between his fierce condemnation of Kavanaugh and his subdued reaction to Platner’s latest sexual assault scandal.

That’s the prevailing sentiment online right now. Many contend it’s Kamala Harris all over again. The Democrat Party, which claims to be for democracy, wants to bypass a primary again and instead select a candidate for their voters. Now they only have to convince Platner, who despises establishment Democrats, to help them out by resigning. This should be fun to watch play out.
