California Governor Gavin Newsom is trying to act tough in the face of President Donald Trump and Republicans, who are enacting the agenda the president won on decisively in 2024. Newsom is using words like ‘assassins’ to describe Republicans, which is in horrible taste considering Trump survived two assassination attempts. He’s even cussing per the DNC memo. It’s all in a laughable attempt to look manly, strong, and tough.
