ESPN Broadcasts Live In Cuba, What Could Possibly Go Wrong? (Hint: Everything)

If President Obama were to be believed, his trip to Cuba has been nothing but pleasant photo ops and a friendly baseball game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban National Team.

Unfortunately, for ESPN reporter Bob Ley, Cuba isn’t the peaceful country our world leaders would like you to believe.

During a live broadcast from the streets of Havana, Ley was interrupted when a Cuban political demonstrator appeared on camera throwing pamphlets. Almost immediately the protestor is arrested and repeatedly hit by plain-clothed police, a harsh reminder of Cuba’s totalitarian government.
