Dems hope 'to restore the American people's faith in' SCOTUS by unconstitutionally expanding the court

“Norms!”

That’s what Democrats shriek without fail every time something stands in the way of Democratic authoritarianism. Don’t think the president should be able to bypass Congress by unconstitutional means? You hate norms! Don’t think Congress should be given a blank check to spend taxpayers’ money with impunity? You hate norms!

Don’t think the Supreme Court should be expanded for the sake of giving Democrats a large liberal majority? You hate norms! Take it away, Democratic Sen. Ed Markey and Friends:

“Judiciary Act” seems like a pretty innocuous name for what Democrats are trying to do here.

Don’t be modest, Ed! Call this what it is: expanding the Supreme Court by padding it with liberal activist justices because you haven’t gotten everything you’ve wanted and need some people who can show up to work and ignore the Constitution in order to deliver decisions that enrich you with even more money and power.

It’s also called throwing a temper tantrum. And it’s obnoxious and annoying and it’s too bad the Supreme Court can’t rule Markey et al. unconstitutional, because what Markey et al. are trying to do is literally unconstitutional.

And if you don’t have the votes, just bypass the voting process completely.

Hey, Ed:
