Last November, Stacey Abrams suffered yet another crushing blow to her political career and ego when she was once again defeated by Republican Brian Kemp in the Georgia gubernatorial race. Tough break.
But, trouper that she is, even though she was down, she was not out. She knew that someone as amazing as her still had so much to contribute to society. That’s why just last month, Abrams took a job as senior counsel at Rewiring America, described by the New York Post as “a dark money environmental advocacy group pushing for the ban of gas stoves and other regulations.”
But guys, she’s such a go-getter that she’s since accepted another position. A pretty major one (albeit a demotion from President of Earth):

Abrams, known for her voting rights activism, will be the inaugural Ronald W. Walters Endowed Chair for Race and Black Politics.
“Stacey Abrams has proven herself an essential voice and eager participant in protecting American democracy — not just for certain populations, but for everyone with the fundamental right to make their voices heard,” Howard University President Wayne A. I. Frederick said.
…
In her new role, Abrams will lead research around the university on political issues affecting Black Americans, hold symposiums and workshops and collaborate with other faculty members on these issues.
“We are entering an inflection point in American politics where the conversation of race and Black politics will be a central facet,” Abrams, 49, told The Washington Post. “And having the chance to help guide part of the conversation for young people who are studying at Howard University is an exceptional opportunity.”
Is it an exceptional opportunity for Howard students to be guided by an election-denying loser, though? Wouldn’t students benefit far more from being taught by someone who isn’t a shameless liar and grifter?
Honored to join @HowardU as its inaugural Ronald W. Walters Endowed Chair for Race and Black Politics. Our obligation to build generational leadership in public policy never stops – here in GA or DC, across the US or around the world. Let’s get it done. https://t.co/1f4uGwg3cs

Oh, we have no doubt she’s gonna get it done. And by “it,” we mean “nothing of value.”

“Stacey Abrams to join @HowardU in role focused on race, politics”
Is it a role focused on losing races and sucking at politics?? https://t.co/KUjOm4x8qm

Don’t worry about Stacey Abrams. If for some reason this new gig doesn’t pay enough, she’ll fail upward into another one before you know it.

It might as well be. Stacey Abrams is a living, breathing parody.
I still think she can win Georgia in 2018! Don’t give up @staceyabrams !!
