When Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema announced that she no longer identifies with the Democratic Party and would be switching her political affiliation to Independent, a lot of liberals got very, very angry with her.
And one of the angriest might very well be the one and only Keith Olbermann.
If you thought that Keith would be the kind of person to take Sinema’s leaving the Democratic Party as an act of stunning betrayal, well, congratulations. You called it:
You are ethically unfit to continue serving as a United States Senator – manipulative, deceptive, messianic, without principles. I urge you to resign your office immediately. https://t.co/jbUyY8tSrS

OK, so he’s not quite calling for Kyrsten Sinema to be seized, detained in a stockade or brig, and tried in a military court like he suggested for Donald Trump …

Again, this isn't difficult:
Trump just threatened to "terminate" the constitution. Send a military detachment to Mar-a-Lago, seize him, detain him in a stockade or brig, and try him in a military court.
This is an open attempt at a Revolution to overthrow the government. pic.twitter.com/0mh5WZa0wm

But his tweet about Sinema is still crazypants. Not that I ever expected anything less than crazypants, of course. He’s Keith Effing Olbermann, after all.
He’s nothing if not entirely predictable https://t.co/FLcgetG9PZ

It’s true. You can set your watch by Keith Olbermann’s meltdowns. Because he’s never not having some kind of meltdown about some kind of something.
Tweet harder.

He’s tweeting as hard as he can, dammit!
I didn't realize that someone is ethically required to be a Democrat to serve as Senator. It seems to me that @SenatorSinema continues to serve her constituents, and they'll get a chance to evaluate her performance if she stands for re-election.

My American history is a bit rusty, but I recall the Founders were suspicious of Factions (aka Parties). One could say the Senator from Arizona is practising a purer form of representation as envisioned at the birth of the Republic.
But you carry on with name-calling.

Oh, don’t worry. He will. It’s all he can do.
And, as always, Twitchy will be here for it.

We just can’t help but want to tune into the train wreck that is and will always be Keith Olbermann.
These tears are delicious.
The guy who's void of any ethics or conscience lecturing anyone is hilarious https://t.co/B78eh5muwW

Keith Olbermann definitely has a brand. It’s called Projection. And also Insanity. So two brands, really.
