The Hill's breaking news about MSNBC's Morning Joe is neither breaking nor news

Not sure where we’d be without The Hill staying on top of breaking news … definitely in the dark about the game-changing, innovative material that Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are putting out.

It seems that MSNBC’s lovable power couple took some time this morning to mock Donald Trump for his recent statement poking at “Morning Joe” over low ratings and whatnot.

And The Hill thought this was very, very important:

Breaking news, y’all!

Stop the presses.

Slow news day, huh, The Hill?

MSNBC rarely has anything valuable to contribute to the discourse. And you know what? That’s OK. The Hill doesn’t have to try so hard to make MSNBC happen. The Hill can admit that MSNBC’s trying too hard. Of course, that would require that The Hill also admit that they’re trying too hard …

Anyway, if The Hill really does feel that “Morning Joe’s” Trump mockery is worth breathless coverage, they should at least frame it more accurately:

Much better.
