Is there a bigger glutton for punishment out there right now than Cory Booker? The answer, of course, is helllllll no.
After getting royally busted yesterday when his “I am Spartacus” theatrics were revealed to be nothing more than a grandstanding sideshow, check out what he just tweeted today:
Weds—I broke committee rules by reading from "committee confidential" docs.
Thurs—Cornyn threatened me with expulsion.
He then changed his story & backtracked. Now he's back at it threatening an ethics investigation b/c we exposed this sham process. https://t.co/FEf4p65iDl

Not only is he still running with the thoroughly — and we do mean thoroughly — debunked “I broke committee rules” nonsense, but he’s actually claiming that he and the Democrats “exposed this sham process.” And he effing pinned the tweet to the top of his Twitter page!
Now that takes some chutzpah.
The only thing sadder than Booker’s tweet is that so many people are buying it:
