As Twitchy told you, progressive outfit Latino Victory sank to a sickening new low with an ad smearing Virginia GOP gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie as a racist, child-hating xenophobe.
A lot of people condemned the twisted ad, as any decent person would.
You want to know how the Left can help convince people to vote Republican?
This type of fear mongering will do it. https://t.co/KTW0p1Kcd3

Hillary’s former deputy national press secretary and senior spokesman Jesse Ferguson evidently isn’t a decent person. Oh, he spoke out about the ad, all right, but it wasn’t to condemn it; it was to defend it:
I've watched a lot of powerful TV ads in my career and this new one about Gillespie/Trump ranks near the top.
Watch. Share. Vote. https://t.co/AfLH1XSpkV

I'm very disappointed in you, Jesse. I thought you were better than this. I was wrong, and that makes me very, very sad.

and I thought you were better than supporting a candidate & a party that has made children across VA fearful of being targeted or deported

We can’t say we’re surprised to see such a garbage take from the likes of Ferguson. Still, it’s pretty pathetic that Ferguson couldn’t put aside partisanship for once and stand up for what’s right.
Powerfully absurd, sure.

That mindset is exactly why your side is at it's lowest point since the 1920s.

I still can't figure out why Hillary lost. pic.twitter.com/H1tB2pX7md

Sure is a mystery, isn’t it?
Godspeed, Jesse. I hope life treats well going forward. You will remain in my prayers.
