@EricBoehlert Are you actually that dumb? Or does it take a diet of paint chips and cheap plastic-bottled vodka?
— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) February 26, 2015
Who says it can’t be all of the above?
As Twitchy told you, in the wake of the Clinton Foundation’s most recent scandal, Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert is in full-throated Hillary defense mode. According to him, not only are Hillary’s Clinton Foundation hands clean, but there’s no reason she couldn’t pull off the Democratic nomination in 2016:
DC press: Hillary has "Iowa problem." latest Quinnipiac poll: Hillary has 90% (!!!) favorable rating among IA Dems. http://t.co/FIxEa1ggfx
— Eric Boehlert (@EricBoehlert) February 26, 2015
btw, i heart this beltway spin: if Hillary doesn't have contested primary she won't be ready to face GOP….you mean like Obama in 2012?
— Eric Boehlert (@EricBoehlert) February 26, 2015
We heart this next tweet from Boehlert:
candidates who didn't face contested primaries and did just fine in general election; Reagan (84) Clinton (96), Bush (2004), Obama (2012)

Anyone spot a pattern there?
@EricBoehlert All incumbents

@EricBoehlert All incumbents. I think HRC would benefit from a token challenger..
— Alan Covington (@Alan_Covington) February 26, 2015
@EricBoehlert all sitting POTUS tho
— Pachacutec (@Pachacutec_) February 26, 2015
@EricBoehlert Should be noted those were all incumbents. However, nobody's ever run as Sec State + Senator + First Lady either.
— Scott Six (@scottsix) February 26, 2015
@EricBoehlert all 2nd term runs though
— NR_Garrett (@NR_Garrett) February 26, 2015
@EricBoehlert All incumbents. Surely you aren't attempting to make a Hillary connection. "One of these things is not like the other…"

@EricBoehlert there's something very similar about all those candidates, can you figure out what it is?
— Loren (@LorenSethC) February 26, 2015
Even Matt Yglesias knows Boehlert blew it with that one:
